My name is Megumi and I specialize in children's illustration and design. I am a Japanese, Mother, and Artist, and now working in Southern California.
Many of my inspirations for the art come from nature and being a mom. Nature is my greatest teacher of life. And children are the master of finding tiny happiness everywhere. Both Nature and Children not only give me inspiration for my art but also make me a better human being.
In my creative process, I am always hoping to bring imagination and cozy feelings to my audience.
When I am not working on art, I love to do gardening and check birds and insects in my backyard.
I am always looking for new creative projects.
